Terms of Service

Welcome to StrayRescue! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the StrayRescue mobile application ("App") operated by Plamen Zhelyazkov ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years of age. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the App.

2. Account Registration

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if any information provided is inaccurate, false, or violates these Terms.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information about animals
• Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state your affiliation
• Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate other users
• Post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
• Use the App for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers connected to the App
• Collect or store personal data about other users without their consent

4. Content Guidelines

When posting content about animals, you agree to follow these guidelines:

• Only post accurate information about animals to the best of your knowledge
• Photos should help identify and locate animals
• Extremely graphic images (severe injuries, deceased animals, excessive blood) are prohibited
• Do not post content that promotes animal cruelty or neglect
• Do not post content intended to deceive or defraud other users
• Respect the privacy of other users and pet owners

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines without notice.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you post to the App ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content in connection with operating and providing the App.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to post your User Content and that your User Content does not violate any third party's intellectual property or other rights.

6. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are owned by Plamen Zhelyazkov and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Third-Party Services

The App may contain links to or integrate with third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

We do not verify the accuracy of information posted by users about animals. We are not responsible for reuniting lost pets with their owners or for the outcome of any animal rescue or adoption facilitated through the App.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Plamen Zhelyazkov and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the App, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Account Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon deletion, your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms in the App and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bulgaria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App and supersede any prior agreements.
